Updating OSE5.3 to add BSPs

Q: In OSE5.3 the BSPs aren't delivered in the CD, and I have to install them separately myself. How to do this?
A: If you have a CD for your BSP, you can install it like any other. If you have a zip file then:
1) unzip the packed file somewhere in a temporary location.
2) Go into bsp_target_xxxx/image
3) run install.bat (windows) or install.sh (anything else).
4) When it asks you for an encryption key, just leave it blank.
5) Then it will ask you where to install. Put the directory as your $OSE_ROOT, e.g. c:/OSE/OSE5.3 .
6) During the install, if you already had OSE5.3 there then you'll get a lot of requests to overwrite files. Just say "Yes to all" since the files being overwritten are identical. (if you find that's not the case, contact support.)
7) Now your new BSP is installed in OSE5.3/refsys/rtose along with any others, and you can proceed to build is as you did for previous releases.

Q: I'm installed some OSE5.3 BSPs. I don't see the pre-built rtose.elf or rtose.exe for soft kernel in there anymore.

A: Correct. The pre-built binaries are no longer delivered.
